The Department of Human Services (DHS) is the new structure of the former Georgia Department of Human Resources. DHS delivers a wide range of human services designed to promote self sufficiency, safety and well-being for all Georgians. The department is one of the largest agencies in state government and is comprised of three divisions and seven offices:
Division of Aging Services, Division of Child Support Services, Division of Family and Children Services, Offices of Facilities and Support Services, Office of Financial Services, Office of General Counsel, Office of Human Resource Management and Development, Office of Information Technology, Office of Inspector General, and Office of Legislative Affairs and Communications.
